Nagel Middle School - 880mi

Our class skyped with Nagel Middle School's 7th grade class. It was really interesting to know that they actually get they're lunch food from different restaurants around. Also, I thought it was funny to know that they had no idea what a whoopie pie was. I had to explain it to them about what it was, and about the size, and what it's made out of.
They seem to have a big class with a lot of students in the 7th grade, so that makes the teaching there a little different. We found out that the 7th grade itself has about 5 social studies teachers!

Middenschool H. Hart - 3350 miles

We did a Skype conference with kids from Middenschool H. Hart which is in Belgiam. The quality on the call was bad, but we still exchanged some questions.
We found out that their classes start later than ours, but we found out that their classes start later than ours, and that on Wednesdays their days last until 5:30 in the afternoon.
We asked them what sports they play, and they either said Tennis or Lacross... or both. Like I said, the connection was bad. They also have a foreign language class, wheras we don't.
They had a lot of questions about our computer class, which leads me to believe that they don't have one. But it's no good to make assumptions. I think that's about all that went on, we're going to try again sometime and hopefully the connection will be better.

Mountain Discovery Charter School - 980mi

We met the 8th grade Social Studies class at Mountain Discovery Charter School.  They told us it was 75 degrees when it was only 47 for us.  They do get snow but not until January or February when we already had snow in October.  There are only 11 8th grade students at their school but we have about 80.
